Launch Checklist: Testing and Publishing Your Funnel

Pages built (Lesson 2), email sequence connected (Lesson 3), checkout live (Lesson 4). Before you send a single visitor, work through this checklist in order.

Connect your custom domain

  1. Click your account name, then Settings → Domains.
  2. Click Connect a domain and enter the domain or subdomain you want the funnel to live on.
  3. Add the DNS records it gives you at your domain registrar.
  4. Come back and confirm the domain shows as Verified — this can take a few minutes to a few hours depending on your registrar.
  5. Open your funnel's settings and point it at the connected domain instead of the default systeme.io subdomain.

Check every step on mobile

  1. Open each published step on an actual phone, not just the editor's preview pane.
  2. Confirm buttons are tappable, text isn't cut off, and forms are usable with a thumb — most of your traffic will arrive on mobile.

Confirm your automation rules are live

  1. Go to Automations and open the rule you built in Lesson 3.
  2. Confirm its status is Active, not paused or draft.
  3. Re-run the test-contact walkthrough from Lesson 3 one more time, end to end, now that the domain and pages are final.

Check your sending setup

  1. Under Settings → Email, confirm your sender name and reply-to address are set to something a subscriber will recognize.
  2. Send yourself a test email from the campaign and check it doesn't land in spam.
  3. If you're on a paid plan, verify your sending domain's SPF/DKIM records are confirmed — this affects whether your follow-up sequence actually reaches the inbox.

Run one full end-to-end pass

  1. Visit the funnel exactly as a new visitor would: land on the first step, opt in, receive the first email, click through to the sales page, and complete a test purchase.
  2. Note anything that felt slow, confusing, or broken at each handoff between steps — fix it now, not after traffic arrives.

Set your step statuses to published

  1. Go through the funnel map one last time and confirm every step reads Published, including any step you built late and forgot to flip from draft.

Once every box above is checked, the funnel is ready for real traffic — paid ads, an email blast to an existing list, or a link from your content.
