Connect Payment and Set Up Checkout for Your Offer

Your funnel and email sequence exist to lead somewhere: a checkout that actually takes money. Connect that now, before you build out the rest of your launch checklist.

Connect a payment gateway

  1. Click your account name, then Settings.
  2. Click Payment gateways.
  3. Click Connect next to Stripe (or PayPal, if that's what you use) and follow the authorization steps to link your account.
  4. Confirm the gateway shows as Connected before moving on — an offer with no live gateway behind it can't take a real payment.

Create the product

  1. Click Products (under Sell) in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Create a product.
  3. Enter the name and price you wrote down in Lesson 1.
  4. Set the pricing type — one-time payment, a recurring subscription, or a split payment plan — to match the offer format you chose.
  5. Click Save.

Add an order bump (optional but worth it)

  1. Inside the product, click Order bumps.
  2. Click Create an order bump and choose a low-priced add-on that naturally pairs with the core offer.
  3. Write one line explaining what it adds — a bump nobody understands at a glance gets ignored.

Attach the product to your order page

  1. Go back to Funnels and open the order/sales step you built in Lesson 2.
  2. Click Edit page, then select the order form block.
  3. In the block settings, choose the product you just created.
  4. Confirm the price shown on the page matches what you set on the product — mismatches here are one of the fastest ways to lose a sale at the last second.
  5. Click Save.

Run a real test transaction

  1. Switch the gateway to test mode in its settings, if your gateway supports it, or use a small real charge you'll immediately refund.
  2. Go to your published order page and complete a full checkout yourself.
  3. Confirm you land on the correct thank-you or upsell step afterward, and that the purchase shows up under Sales in your dashboard.
  4. Switch the gateway back to live mode before you send real traffic.

Checkout is the step where a slow or confusing funnel loses the sale it worked to earn — worth testing this thoroughly before launch.
